Brokers

Who is an Insurance Broker?

An Insurance Broker is a Company (or person) registered as an advisor on insurance matters.  Insurance Brokers are experts on this subject and are regulated by the Financial Services Commission who have strict sets of rules that must be followed when conducting business.

Insurance Brokers act on behalf of their clients (the buyers), rather than the Insurers (the sellers).  They act in the best interest of the client and do all the leg work involved in finding a policy or programme that best meets the specific needs and budget of the individual or business.

Five Reasons to Use an Insurance Broker

Businesses may be encouraged to “go direct” to Insurers believe they are saving money by cutting out the middle man. However, there are several reasons why using a Broker to do the work for you by piloting the negotiating  process is a valuable choice.

  1. Essentially a Broker is a guiding hand in the complex world of insurance.  They provide a range of quotes, arrange the right cover and make the claims process,  simpler. Working with an Insurance Broker, and taking advantage of their technical knowledge and experience, can make the selection process easier and help you avoid unnecessary costs.Businesses purchasing insurance through a Broker will present lower hazards as Brokers are better skilled at appraising risk exposures.

  2. Brokers also provide a smoother, stress free service.  They usually offer service face to face, online, as well as by telephone and are proactive in engaging clients.

  3. Securing speedy quotes after your original contact is paramount and event changes, during the policy period, are done with alacrity.  Brokers have the professional experience in Risk Management to make recommendations consistently that are beneficial to the client, which is useful and save money in the process.

  4. Brokers have trained staff to deal with all areas of insurance and can apply this expertise when looking at a Company’s risk exposures, hence providing the client with peace of mind knowing that all their insurable risks are covered.

  5. Brokers offer clients a feeling of security as it relates to the privacy of their personal information. Their ability to deal with specific insurance questions face to face is also a factor that feeds into the conviction clients feel when working with a Broker.
Our Mission as Brokers is to be Risk Advisors and maximize our clients’ dollar in an ethical, creative and professional manner by providing exceptional people who are customer centered, technically trained and who fully appreciate and understand our clients’ needs.”
